Hello! I'm Mrs. Moberly and I am very excited to be teaching at Issaquah High School.
My undergraduate education was spent at the University of Washington where my love of science thrived, and my passion for biology was born. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Evolution, Ecology, and Conservation Biology, with a minor emphasis in Bio-cultural Anthropology. Two of the best opportunities presented during this time were a mission in Honduras, and a study abroad in Peru. I completed the Master of Arts in Education program through PLU, it was a ton of work, but gave me valuable experiences that guide my teaching practice.
In the past I worked as a park ranger at Lewis Creek Park in Bellevue, designing and delivering environmental education programs to visitors of all ages. It has been wonderful to have had the opportunity to teach students who attended my programs at Lewis Creek.
When we get the chance my husband and I love to go on trail rides with our horses, Aranza and Ares. Our daughter, Emberlee, and our dog, Orion, are the lights of our life. We enjoy taking family hikes and going to the zoo.
I look forward to meeting everyone, and getting the chance to be your biology teacher!
